Equivalance issue in literary Translation

Abstract

This paper focused on the Equivalance issues of literary translation from Uzbek literature into English, the way makes it easier to bring the translated text closer to original, helps to find out the English equivalents of words, phrases and proverbs appeared in Uzbek literary books, the achievements and shortcomings in this field, and their causes. Translation industry is always known as the means of communication to interconnects the Languages by conveying a massage written a language into another one. It has been long time literary books and novels are being translated from Uzbek language into English or vice versa. it is doing a great national-cultural concepts exchange of nations. The vital problem often faced in translation process is substituting the expression that holds the same concepts as the original. some translated books or novels are hevily affected this issue. if the translated text compared with original ones some mismatch or mistranslation extracted. Here, some parts of Uzbek-English translated text taken out of translation novel or books examined to highlight the mismatch or misplaced equivalents then propose the appropriate ones. obviously, translation is a complicated progress requiring translators a keen artist sense and extra vocabulary entries both in target and source languages. it is required translators to know the similarities or differences of both languages as well as equivalents of proverbs, synonymous and antonymous words or phrases appeared in original taxts.
